Meet Thomas Gross, CEO of Marketplace 24-7 GmbH

Tell us more about Marketplace 24-7 GmbH.
Marketplace 24-7 GmbH operates non-dom.group, a business platform connecting entrepreneurs with vetted advisors, investors, and exclusive opportunities to drive growth, restructure companies, and expand internationally.

Please give some more details of your startup story: what was the “aha” moment that led to the idea for your startup?
The “aha” moment came when we realized entrepreneurs lacked a single, trusted hub for structuring, funding, and scaling internationally. Marketplace 24-7 was born to connect ambitious founders with experts, capital, and global opportunities in one seamless platform.

So, what’s next for you—what’s a bold goal you’re chasing right now?
Our bold goal is to become the leading cross-border entrepreneur marketplace in Europe within 24 months—connecting 10,000+ founders and investors, enabling €500M in structured deals, and setting a new standard for how businesses scale internationally.

Which decision (big or small) had the most unexpected positive impact on your startup?
Securing Angelus Group as our anchor investor was a turning point. Through their network, we quickly gained access to major partners, including the German Business Angels Association. This opened high-value connections and credibility far beyond our initial reach.

How did you build your team, and what helps you maintain your startup culture?
We handpicked experts from our network who share a global mindset and entrepreneurial spirit. Regular strategy sprints, transparent communication, and a shared mission to empower cross-border founders keep our culture agile, ambitious, and deeply collaborative.

If you could do it all over again, what would you do differently? What are your biggest learnings?
We would have focused our marketing from day one on solving specific, high-impact problems entrepreneurs face. The biggest learning: clarity and direct relevance in addressing pain points build trust faster, attract the right partners, and accelerate traction.

Building a startup requires resilience, how do you stay focused during tough times?
We stay focused by anchoring every decision to our mission: empowering entrepreneurs to scale globally. Regular progress reviews, a strong support network, and celebrating small wins keep morale high, while challenges become milestones on the path to long-term impact.

One piece of advice for someone who is just starting out with their startup?
“Think big. Act now. Don’t wait for perfection. Test with real customers, ship version 0, measure, iterate. Focus on securing anchor customers and investors—results come from action, not overthinking.”

What’s your outlook on the future of the Swiss startup scene, and how can it compete internationally?
Switzerland can attract dissatisfied founders from the DACH region by keeping bureaucracy lean, offering clear legal frameworks, and leveraging its stability, talent, and capital access—positioning itself as the go-to base for globally ambitious startups.

What value do you see in being part of the Swiss Startup Association?
Being part of the Swiss Startup Association provides access to a powerful network, policy advocacy, and visibility in the Swiss and global ecosystem. Personally, it’s a chance to learn from top founders. Professionally, it accelerates partnerships, investor access, and cross-border growth.

Is there anything else you would like to share with the community?
We’re passionate about building bridges between Swiss innovation and global markets. If you’re a founder, investor, or expert who believes in empowering entrepreneurs across borders, we’d love to connect, share insights, and explore collaborations that create real impact.
