Welcoming Our New Board Members: Strengthening the Swiss Startup Voice
The Swiss Startup Association (SSA) is proud to announce the appointment of three new board members who bring deep expertise and entrepreneurial vision to our team. Their leadership reflects our mission: to create the best possible environment for startups and scaleups in Switzerland, and to be their loudest, clearest voice in business and politics. “We hear you. We support you.”
Enzo Wälchli
Chief Commercial Officer at ANYbotics
Enzo knows firsthand what it means to scale a deep tech startup. As CCO of ETH Zurich spin-off ANYbotics, he has helped grow the company from an academic idea into an internationally recognized robotics leader. At SSA, Enzo leads our Scaleup Initiative, advocating for better structures, funding access, and political awareness of the challenges facing Swiss high-growth startups.
Michael Kubli
CEO of Kinastic & President of the Entrepreneur Club Winterthur
Michael brings a dual perspective—as both a healthtech founder and the driving force behind Startup Nights, one of Switzerland’s largest startup events. As President of the Entrepreneur Club Winterthur, he’s helped position Winterthur as a rising startup hub. At SSA, Michael will focus on national collaboration and visibility—connecting ecosystems and increasing the reach of our advocacy and support.
Karim Maizar
Partner at Kellerhals Carrard / Startup and Venture Capital Lawyer
Karim is one of Switzerland’s most experienced legal advisors in the startup and venture capital space. As a partner at Kellerhals Carrard, he supports founders, investors, and tech companies at every stage—from incorporation and financing to exits. His long-standing involvement in the startup scene and legal expertise make him a key voice in our policy and regulatory work at the SSA.
With these new board members, the Swiss Startup Association strengthens its position as the united voice of Swiss founders, from early-stage to scaleup. Together, we’ll continue fighting for better policy, smarter regulation, stronger networks, and real impact for startups across Switzerland.
Stay tuned for more to come as we grow!
