Supporting Better Conditions for Startups in Switzerland

Politics and Entrepreneurship

The most important concerns for better framework conditions for startups in Switzerland are:

  • Simplified and clear rules for the taxation of employee shareholdings
  • Streamlined visa process for people from third countries who (want to) work in a Swiss startup
  • Introduction of a startup visa for founders from third countries (within or outside the existing quotas)
  • Better fund structures for venture capitalists in Switzerland
  • Less bureaucracy in dealings with the authorities, more digital interfaces, digital start-up process

To effectively represent the interests of startups at local, cantonal, and national levels, it is essential to have more entrepreneurs actively involved in politics. Below are entrepreneurs who are politically committed to startups. This happens at different political levels and to varying degrees. In many cases, they are involved in consultation with the Swiss Startup Association.

The Swiss Startup Association plays a vital role in supporting entrepreneurs and politically committed individuals who advocate for startups. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
