The most important concerns for better framework conditions for startups in Switzerland are:

Startup Visa– Switzerland needs a dedicated visa that allows international founders and top talent to build companies here.
ESOP Tax Burden – Employee share ownership must be taxed more fairly and transparently so startups can attract and retain talent.
Venture Capital – Switzerland requires more competitive and flexible fund structures to strengthen its position as a leading venture capital hub.
Spin-offs – Universities hold significant untapped spin-off potential that must be unlocked through better conditions and reduced administrative hurdles.
Investment Screening Act – Investor identities should remain protected rather than publicly disclosed.
Loss Carryforward Extension – Startups need a longer loss carryforward period to compensate for their extended time to profitability.
Tax Incentives for Investors – Investors require more than tax-free capital gains to make Switzerland an attractive place for startup investments.
Tax Incentives for Corporates – Swiss companies need stronger incentives to invest capital into startups and innovation.
