Meet Gjelberim Mamudi, CEO of Eagle IT Solutions

Please tell us about Eagle IT Solutions

We are a software company that solves tough tech problems and we love it! Our goal is to make digital products that are easy to use and last a long time. We are very good at what we do, focusing on a small area of tech so we don’t have surprises and can always produce top-quality software. Since 2017, we have finished over 25+ web and mobile projects in areas like social networking, education, healthcare, and more. We have worked with brands like Mazafam, SmartScout GmbH, and Vinco AG. Our way of working is simple: we build partnerships with our clients. We work together to find the best solution for their business.

We started our company in August 2017 with a team of four people. We wanted to make our own software-as-a-service (SaaS), so we needed some brilliant minds. I met with three young developers who were very excited about the idea, and we became a team right away! After we successfully developing the first version of our product, we realized how much we loved creating things. Through this, we also saw a chance to help other business owners with their projects, just like we had. Hence, we started offering our skills as a service to help others on their journey.

Tell us more about your plans for 2024 and what is your long-term vision.

In 2024, we are planning to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) in our workflow. This will help us work faster and smoothen the process. By doing this, we can develop products for our clients more quickly and at a lower cost. In the long run, we want to keep improving our skills and help more people turn their ideas into reality. Our vision is to always deliver high-quality software and be the best at helping our clients achieve their goals.

What has been the biggest success that you have achieved in your startup?

Our biggest success to date traces back to the COVID times, where we worked with SmartScout and the API from Switzerland’s health authority, Bundesamt für Gesundheit (BAG) to build a particular software in record time – we finished it in less than a month! It was a big challenge, but we did it, and it made us very proud.

If you could do it all over again, what would you do differently? What are your biggest learnings?

If we could do it all over again, we would move faster, try out more new ideas, and encourage more creative thinking. Our biggest learning is that experimenting and being creative helps us find the best solutions and build better products.

What motivates you to continue your business every day?

We are motivated every day by the new challenges we encounter. Our plate is usually full as we always have new projects and ideas to work on for our clients. It is hard work, but it is also very exciting to see our ideas and solutions turn into reality! It makes us better and helps us grow each day.

One piece of advice for someone who is just starting out with their startup?

Build a simple version of your product, an MVP, and focus only on the most important features. Leave everything else out. Then, test it in the real world. Don’t get stuck trying to make it perfect the first time.

What does it mean to you to be a member of the Swiss Startup Association?

Being part of the Swiss Startup Association is like being at home. You are with people who understand your problems because they face the same ones that you encounter. You can get real help there and this means a lot to me both in my personal and professional life.

Would you recommend joining the Swiss Startup Association? Why?

Absolutely yes! Being a startup is hard and full of challenges. You need to be with people who understand and have faced similar problems. The Swiss Startup Association is the perfect place for startups to get that support.

My partner recently had the pleasure of attending the SSA Summer Night, where we were able to meet many people and exchange ideas. We would recommend such events to anyone who wants to grow their network.

Is there anything that we haven’t asked you that you would like to share with us/the community?

I’d like to share that our team culture is built on trust and collaboration. We believe that a strong, cohesive team is the foundation of our success. We invest in regular team-building activities and encourage open communication to ensure everyone feels valued and heard.
