Please tell us about Innoswipe AG

Innoswipe helps startups and SMEs to survey their target group within hours using our self-service platform. The surveyed target group uses an app on which they can swipe through the newest innovations and then fill out their survey if they are interested. After the survey is filled out, they receive money for the surveys answered, no coupon, real cash.

We are a team of three founders and we began back in 2020 to work on Innoswipe as a project. In August 2023 Innoswipe was founded by Jason Jacobs, Jan Meier (GOAT) and Dominic Frei.

The main reason behind founding this startup was Dominic’s other Startup maison.work. Dominic realized that it is hard to build software solutions without inputs from the target group. Even though he found a way to get some feedback, there was no solution to get easy, cost efficient and fast feedback from the target group. Innoswipe solves this problem.

Tell us more about your plans for 2024 and what is your long-term vision.

This year we focus on creating revenues without taking any funding and want to build a small team around the three founders. As a first step, it is important for Innoswipe to prove its concept and its value to the customers.

What has been the biggest success that you have achieved in your startup?

We have grown our user base from 0 to 4000 users in just about 2 months.

If you could do it all over again, what would you do differently? What are your biggest learnings?

I would maybe start with more people to be faster, but it is not easy to find co-founders who are as smart as Jason and Jan in their area. Moreover, I would maybe have done some sales-related things earlier, but we tested a lot of things in the last 2 years and built the software from feedback from clients from both sides.

What motivates you to continue your business every day?

The vision is that one day it will be possible for all startups to get feedback from their target group in minutes. This will mean that innovation gets taken to a whole new level because innovation cycles would massively shorten and products would find market fit faster and more often. Moreover, a lot of Marketing money would be saved. This would make me sleep a lot better at night ;).

One piece of advice for someone who is just starting out with their startup?

just do it and put this slogan on everything you do. Doing and failing is the best way to learn. At the same time, I want to point out that there is no way around hard work and dedication towards your product/idea/goals, this is why you should try a lot of things to make sure you have a product and a vision with impact for a specific group.

What does it mean to you to be a member of the Swiss Startup Association?

The future will tell. I love the people around this association, because they make the startup world in Switzerland bigger and better every day. Additionally, I feel connected because we want to make the innovation world better and startups are the core of both worlds.

Would you recommend joining the Swiss Startup Association? Why?

Yes, I would recommend it to every startup. The reason behind my recommendation is that you get access to a big network, cool events and a lot of benefits, which can safe you money.

Have you ever visited the events of the Swiss Startup Association? If yes, which ones? Would you recommend them?

No, unfortunately, I haven’t yet. I will be at the start Summit 2024.

Is there anything that we haven’t asked you that you would like to share with the community?

Know your gang, know your gang!

Your co-founders and your team in general are your biggest asset, it’s important to have great communication in your group and to always improve this, because you have to make each other better over time. It’s therefore important to find the right ways and channels to give feedback.
