Welcome to the Swiss Startup Association

Thank you for your commitment to our mission, and we are excited to have you on board and look forward to working closely with you.

Let's get started with the onboarding!

By volunteering you are generously donating your time, skills and efforts. Our ambition is that all volunteers feel appreciated, respected and proud to be part of the SSA team. In order to work together successfully, we would like you to know our expectations towards you. Please indicate your agreement with the points below by checking the boxes.

Introduction to the SSA: You understand the SSA's mission, vision, and values. It is the foundation of what the SSA stands for and what we want to achieve.
You're part of our team: As a volunteer, you are an integral and important part of our team. We value your contributions. Although there is no financial compensation for your work, we recognize and appreciate your hard work, and celebrate and thank our volunteers, highlighting it to our community. We would like you to be part of the team events, all-hands video calls (2x/year) and other team activities.
You commit to professional standards and carry out the duties listed in your volunteer position description. Of course, you can count on the support of the SSA team and the board.😊
Communication and collaboration: Communication is key to working together successfully! We use a couple of tools and platforms to stay in touch. As a volunteer, you are requested to save all relevant information and documents on the SSA google drive or in the slack channel.
You will let us know if your availability changes or you are leaving the organisation. (Don't worry, we are fully aware that things may change in your life and that's totally ok. But please do let us know. Ghosting is not cool.)
You respect confidentiality and data privacy.
