Simplifying startup founding and administration with EasyGov
Administrative complexity continues to be a recurring concern among startup founders in Switzerland. Time spent navigating bureaucracy is time not spent building products, teams, and markets.
EasyGov.swiss has already reduced administrative burdens in company formation and registration. However, many founders still experience fragmented processes and repeated data submissions.
Why administrative simplification is under review
The Swiss Parliament is examining whether the founding and ongoing administration of startups can be further simplified through EasyGov and the consistent application of the once-only principle.
This principle ensures that companies only need to provide their data once, after which it can be reused across all relevant administrative procedures.
What EasyGov currently offers
EasyGov enables digital company formation and registration with several authorities, including social security, VAT, and commercial registers. Data entered once is reused for subsequent processes, reducing duplication.
However, certain steps, such as notarial procedures or interactions with private providers, remain outside the platform’s scope.
