Meet Anouck Reber, Founder & CEO of PROPFY SOFTWARE SA

Tell us more about Propfy.
Founded in 2025 by Swiss-British solo founder Anouck Reber, Propfy is a PropTech startup developing a user-centric CRM for real estate brokers. It centralizes workflows from prospecting to invoicing and features an AI-powered SmartApp, a true field tool with real-time Swiss market scraping.

Please give some more details of your startup story: what was the “aha” moment that led to the idea for your startup?
The idea for Propfy came when one of our main competitors was acquired by a large group. Instead of seeing it as a threat, I saw an opportunity, a growing gap in the market just as the real estate sector was accelerating its digital transformation. Combining that momentum with my years of field experience made the “aha” moment clear: it was time to build a smarter, more adaptive CRM, one that truly understands the broker’s profession and integrates the best technologies of today.

So, what’s next for you — what’s a bold goal you’re chasing right now?
Propfy is preparing its interactive workshop on November 13, 2025, where real estate brokers will test key features, share live feedback, and shape the final version of the platform. This milestone paves the way for the official launch of Propfy’s V1 in May 2026.

Which decision (big or small) had the most unexpected positive impact on your startup?
As a solo founder, I launched Propfy in August 2024. Within months, traction and visibility grew quickly. When my team proposed a Soft Launch in September, I hesitated, it felt too early. Yet that event became a real turning point, amplifying our credibility, network, and brand momentum across the PropTech scene.

How did you build your team, and what helps you maintain your startup culture?
I didn’t really build my team, people came to me. That was the most surprising part: I never expected my idea to attract so much genuine interest. Each person joined because they believed in Propfy’s vision, and that shared conviction naturally shaped our culture of trust, drive, and collaboration.

If you could do it all over again, what would you do differently? What are your biggest learnings?
If I could do it again, I’d stress less and trust the process more. I’ve learned that building a startup isn’t about ups and downs, it’s about cycles. Accepting that rhythm with perspective has been my biggest lesson. Growth comes from navigating, not fighting, those waves.

Building a startup requires resilience. How do you stay focused during tough times?
Let’s be honest, building a startup is a rollercoaster. If someone had told me all the emotional states I’d go through, I might’ve reconsidered! But here I am, still standing. Humor, perspective, and a good espresso keep me sane when things get wild. Resilience, redefined.

One piece of advice for someone who is just starting out with their startup?
Build your circle early. Surround yourself with people who challenge, support, and remind you why you started, both professionally and personally. The hardest moments often come from feeling alone, so invest in your network as much as in your product. It changes everything.

What’s your outlook on the future of the Swiss startup scene, and how can it compete internationally?
The Swiss startup scene is maturing fast, with solid ideas and growing investor confidence. To compete internationally, we don’t need to be the biggest, we just need to stay consistent, collaborative, and proud of our precision and reliability. That’s where our real advantage lies.

What value do you see in being part of the Swiss Startup Association (personally and professionally)?
For me, joining the Swiss Startup Association is about connection and collective strength. It’s a space where founders exchange, grow, and push boundaries together. Personally, it’s motivating; professionally, it’s a catalyst for visibility, credibility, and future collaborations.
