Please give some more details of your startup story: what was the “aha” moment that led to the idea for your startup?
I started three years ago with a simple but powerful idea: to make strategic leadership accessible without the burden of full-time overhead. The real turning point came when I met my co-founder. I realized that what I had built could evolve into something far more impactful. By combining forces, we could help more clients, across more markets, with greater precision and reach.
I often compare it to a school of fish: agile, aligned, and capable of navigating complexity together — achieving far more than any one fish could alone. Now, scaling with my co-founder, we’re building Europe’s first boutique for fractionals across DACH, the Nordics, and Singapore.
So, what’s next for you — what’s a bold goal you’re chasing right now?
Fractional leadership models are just beginning to gain traction. Deloitte projects that by the end of 2025, 35% of U.S. companies will have at least one fractional executive on their org chart. In the UK, the momentum is undeniable — LinkedIn profiles mentioning “fractional leadership” surged from just 2,000 in 2022 to over 110,000 by 2024.
In continental Europe, however, the model is still in its infancy. That’s where our bold vision comes in: to bring fractional leadership to life across the Nordics, DACH, and Singapore. We’re helping clients and VCs access senior firepower on demand — without overhead, with faster execution, and with the agility today’s markets demand.
Through our Fractional CxO community, we aim to lead the movement for flexible, high-impact leadership and make fractional the new normal. From Europe, we’re not just following the trend — we’re shaping it.
Which decision (big or small) had the most unexpected positive impact on your startup?
From day one, we defined our TRM (Total Relevant Market) — focusing on DACH, the Nordics, and Singapore — and committed to our unique value proposition: the duality of strategic firepower and human empathy.
Both my co-founder and I come from high-performance, black-and-white sales environments. But we knew we wanted to build something different — a model that delivers commercial outcomes while staying deeply human-centric. For us, empathy isn’t a soft skill; it’s a strategic asset. It’s part of our core value system and the reason we believe so strongly in the power of networks and enabling people along their journey.
Being bold not just in our deliverables, but in our values, has had a tangible impact. It’s helped us build stronger rapport with clients, foster trust faster, and create meaningful partnerships that go beyond transactions.
How did you build your team, and what helps you maintain your startup culture?
We’re still very much in startup mode — building our team, shaping our community, and learning every day. For us, being fractional isn’t about being a lone wolf; it’s a team effort. That’s why our community isn’t just a strategic asset — it’s something we live and breathe. It grows with us, and we grow through it.
We operate on a dual engine: speed and soul. Staying true to our core values helps us remain authentic, build trust, and grow sustainably. This combination of strategic firepower and human empathy sets us apart — and makes our journey not just bold, but meaningful.
If you could do it all over again, what would you do differently? What are your biggest learnings?
We’d speak up sooner, say “no” faster, and trust our gut more. Our biggest learning? As two female founders, we sometimes over-prepared instead of over-claiming — the classic “prove it first” trap. Now, we lead with clarity, not permission. And we’ve learned that traction speaks louder than titles.
Building a startup requires resilience. How do you stay focused during tough times?
Focus, for me, starts with alignment — body, soul, and mind are my key pillars. I begin each day with a short run and strength training, always accompanied by my favorite spiritual podcast. That’s my first island — a space where I center myself before the day begins. In the evening, I never go to bed without 15 to 20 minutes of meditation. It’s not just a source of inspiration; it’s what keeps me grounded and balanced, especially in high-pressure environments.
One piece of advice for someone who is just starting out with their startup?
Don’t overthink it. Be bold, trust your instincts, and go with the flow. In fast-moving environments, over-analysis can stall momentum. Clarity often comes through action, not hesitation. When you trust with certainty — in your team, your vision, and your values — you create space for bold decisions and authentic leadership.
What’s your outlook on the future of the Swiss startup scene, and how can it compete internationally?
Switzerland has the potential to compete globally — but it needs to move from precision to pace. From our work across the Swiss, Swedish, and Singaporean startup ecosystems, we’ve seen what works: clarity, quality, speed, and shared learning.
What value do you see in being part of the Swiss Startup Association (personally and professionally)?
Being part of the Swiss Startup Association means staying connected to the pulse of innovation. We’re here to learn from fellow founders, share senior insights, and bring a global perspective from markets like Sweden and Singapore. One topic close to our hearts is inspiring women.
Is there anything else you would like to share with us/the community?
One thing we’d like to share with the community: growth doesn’t fail because of lack of ambition — it fails because of misalignment, unclear Go-To-Market, and slow execution. At CRO2go, we bring structure, speed, and strategic clarity. If you’re scaling and need traction, let’s talk. We’re here to build outcomes, not overhead.
