Please tell us about RN IT-UNIT AG
RN IT-Unit AG spun out of a business merger of Reich + Nievergelt AG and their IT unit. We are in the business of ICT services, which includes: outsourcing, possessing our own data center, providing cybersecurity-managed services such as awareness trainings online and offline, as well as communication services, where we partner up with companies like 3CX, Peoplefone, MITEL and Swisscom and communications solutions like Microsoft Teams. Currently, we are a team of 12 people.
Tell us more about your plans for 2025 and what is your long-term vision.
Our long-term vision is to develop a healthy growth trajectory, powered by our strong business relations with a large customer base. We also want to offer new and innovative products to our existing customers as well as to new ones. An important focus for us is on fast-changing technologies so that we can enable our customers to advance to next level technologies.
What has been the biggest success that you have achieved in your startup?
To keep long-term customers and receive constant recommendations as trust is one of the most important business drivers in ourfield.
If you could do it all over again, what would you do differently? What are your biggest learnings?
There is not so much we would have done differently as every step we take is a learning process, only for the better.
What motivates you to continue your business every day?
The constant and rapid developments in the technology space, strengthening existing client relationships and finding new partners to work with.
One piece of advice for someone who is just starting out with their startup?
Finance is the most important part of your business – take care of it. If you have customers already, keep on invoicing them regularly as this is the backbone of your business. In fact, this is not just my advice but also the one of a famous businessman called Jeremy Hackett. Knowledge does not mean much if you cannot make money out of it.

Yes, of course as communication and meeting up with new people is always a good idea. In the end, it’s all about cooperation in many different fields nationally and internationally.
