inStore Hub is a dynamic startup poised to transform local retail through technology. Our platform connects consumers with non-food retailers in their area, simplifying the shopping experience with an intuitive app that offers a map view, product filters, and detailed store profiles. Focused on community and efficiency, inStore is committed to strengthening local economies and fostering sustainable shopping habits. Our dedicated team combines expertise in AI, data engineering, and marketing to deliver a seamless, supportive service for both buyers and sellers.

Founded in 2024, inStore Hub targets the underserved Non-Food Local Market. We’re a driven team of 5, including CEO Marco (visionary leader), CTO Francesco (data engineering wizard), COO Dario (operations and psychology expert), CMO Matteo (marketing and design guru), and Software Engineer Liule (AI architect). Motivated by a clear market need for better local shopping connections, we’re here to revolutionize retail with tech, uniting communities and retailers. Our startup is on a mission to make local shopping seamless and impactful.

Tell us more about your plans for 2024 and what is your long-term vision.

In 2024, inStore aims to lay a solid foundation in Zurich, showcasing how our service can transform local shopping by marrying online efficiency with the unique charm of local commerce. Our vision stretches beyond, aiming to expand across Switzerland and eventually into Europe, redefining local shopping dynamics at each step. Central to our mission is empowering local merchants and providing consumers with a service that’s both efficient and valuable, ultimately revitalizing local economies and enhancing community ties through innovative retail solutions.

What has been the biggest success that you have achieved in your startup?

Our biggest achievement to date has been the creation of a scalable product alongside the implementation of our go-to-market strategy. While we’re just at the beginning, our readiness to enter the market promises to deliver significant value.

If you could do it all over again, what would you do differently? What are your biggest learnings?

In hindsight, a greater emphasis on broadening our knowledge would be beneficial. Our path is still unfolding, making it premature for deep reflection, but the initial steps taught us the importance of continuous learning in shaping our venture.

What motivates you to continue your business every day?

Work, and overcome problems with my Team to fulfil our Vision.

One piece of advice for someone who is just starting out with their startup?

Reflecting on our journey, the key takeaway is the importance of self-reliance and crafting solutions that first address personal needs, creating a product that we, ourselves, would use daily. The experience underscored the value of having technically skilled founders and team members to streamline development. This approach not only accelerates progress but also ensures that our solutions are deeply aligned with real-world requirements, setting a strong foundation for customer satisfaction.

Being a member of the Swiss Startup Association signifies joining a dynamic movement poised for change, surrounded by individuals with diverse yet aligned visions.
