Tell us more about the story behind Peppertree Visions

I’ve already founded two startups

Relish Guitars and RecycleWall. I’ve experienced many heights and depths and I know what it takes to develop, design and realize physical products, convince investors and finally bring your product to the market. I founded Peppertree Visions in December 2018 to help startups with my skills and experience. I am currently alone in the team Peppertree.

Tell us more about your plans for 2024 and what is your long-term vision.

My plans for 2024 are to support many more innovative startups regarding innovation, design & visuals. My long-term vision is to build up a team to expand skills and knowledge when it comes to the development and realization of physical products.

What has been the biggest success that you have achieved in your startup?

My biggest success so far has been the development of a product, the RecycleWall, within 8 days from the idea to its first delivery. Plus

RecycleWall generated sales of over CHF 1 million within the first year.

If you could do it all over again, what would you do differently? What are your biggest learnings?

Finding the right co-founders or partners is crucial. If I could do it all over again, I would choose those more wisely. It’s better to start up later, but with the right people.

What motivates you to continue your business every day?

It motivates me every day anew to see and feel the passion of the startuppers for their product, to be able to accompany the startups and watch them grow. And it’s my passion to develop products, whether it’s a watch, a perfume bottle, a packaging or a guitar. It’s fascinating to watch the development of a product, not to mention being able to control the development.

One piece of advice for someone who is just starting out with their startup?

Focus on the core needs of your customers. It’s better to focus on just a few product features, but do them sensationally well. Simplicity precedes dozens of features, which could overwhelm your customers anyway.

What does it mean to you to be a member of the Swiss Startup Association?

I am passionate about innovation and design, so it personally means a lot to me to be officially part of the Swiss startup scene. Professionally I’m looking forward to exchanging experiences and know-how with startups and supporting them with my skills.

Would you recommend joining the Swiss Startup Association? Why?

If you want to exchange ideas with other startups and get support for your project, it is definitely advisable to join the Swiss Startup Association.
